Setting up Action Emails for Enhanced Objectives

Note

Sage People has two different types of objectives for performance management processes: Objectives and Enhanced Objectives. If you are not sure which objectives your organization uses, check out this comparison.

Role: HR Administrator

You can configure Sage People to send emails in the following situations:

  • A Team Member or manager reveals an Enhanced Objective

  • A Team Member or manager closes an Enhanced Objective

  • An Enhanced Objective is due a review

  • A Team Member or manager adds a review to an Enhanced Objective

  • A Team Member or manager adds a comment to an Enhanced Objective, using the same event as adding a comment to a Conversation.

Tasks to do: 

  1. Create an email template.

  2. Create an Action Event Pattern

    If you are already using Action Events for other processes, you can use an existing Action Event Pattern.

  3. Link the Action Event Pattern to Policy

    If you are already using Action Events for other processes and have linked your Action Event Pattern to Policies, check Conversations and Enhanced Objectives are enabled in the Policies linked to the Action Event Pattern.

  4. Create the Action Events for Objective related email notifications

  5. Schedule Action Emails
