Setting up Performance Management

When your org wants to start using performance management features provided by the Sage People Performance Management package, you have a small number of setup tasks for the entire package:

• Enable Conversations. Enhanced Objectives and Feedback both require Conversations.

• Create a WX Process for Performance Management.

• Schedule the batch to maintain correct data sharing to HR Managers.

• Assign Permission Sets to users.

• Optionally, configure cross reporting manager access to Performance Management.

• If you are using custom email notifications:

  • disable the default Performance Management emails

  • configure email notifications

  • schedule the job to send email notifications.

When you have completed these steps, Conversations, Enhanced Objectives, and Feedback have additional setup tasks:

• Conversations setup tasks

• Enhanced Objectives setup tasks

• Feedback setup tasks
