DocuSign integration OAuth authentication

DocuSign is retiring its older authentication method based on the use of username and password to connect to their REST APIs. To ensure compatibility continues, the Sage People DocuSign integration is moving to an OAuth-based approach (JWT). This is an industry standard method most cloud platforms use. It's now the only way for systems to connect to DocuSign.

To keep your existing integration working, you need to complete a one-time update to establish a new secure connection between Sage and DocuSign. This replaces the older method that DocuSign is retiring. Once in place, the new approach provides a more stable connection. It reduces the likelihood of authentication issues and improves traceability for support and audit purposes. You also get a more reliable foundation for future enhancements and integrations.

There are changes to the DocuSign configuration tab in HCM. It now references the Named Credential instead of the Username and Password.
