The Sage People Y25.2 release now allows you to use different colors in the WX Absence calendar. Admins can assign a calendar color category to an Absence Accrual Rule. You can use the same category color for multiple rules.
Five new colors are available to give you more options, while maintaining the accessibility of the calendar. The system defaults the category labels to the color name but you can customize these. The category labels are displayed in the WX category legend.
Assign a color to an Absence Accrual Rule
You'll see a new field on Absence Accrual Rules using the set of five pre-defined colors. The values describe the colors on the WX Calendar for Absences. By default, the labels in the Value Set match the API names and describe the color:
Admins can change the Labels to suit the business Absence need. By default, this field is empty on new and existing Rules. Absences will still appear as standard blue (absence record types) or green (vacation record types):
