Create a Salesforce site for forms

If a form needs to be accessed by external users such as pre-boarders, the form must be hosted on a public site so that users are not required to log in with their Sage People credentials. To make the form public, you must define a custom Salesforce site that is used to host your forms.

Note Sites are not required for forms that will only be accessed by existing team members within WX, or by candidates within the Recruit candidate portal.

A single site can serve multiple forms, or you can set up multiple sites to host different forms.

The URL for your site is in the form: http://xxxx.my.salesforce-sites.com/yyyy

where xxxx is your organization's My Domain subdomain and yyyy is the URL path for your site.

To configure a remote site for forms:

  1. Create a Salesforce site

  2. Configure Visualforce page access for the site

  3. Configure public access for the site guest user account.

Note Site configuration must be performed by a user with system administrator privileges.
