Interviews and assessments overview

Recruit version 39.09 introduced the Outlook Interview Scheduler as an alternative for setting up and managing candidate interviews. Outlook Interview Scheduler can be enabled to take advantage of integration with Microsoft Outlook through a dedicated dialog for creating, editing, and canceling interviews. Interviewers are assigned as part of the new process. The release made some changes to the existing Application detail page, moving the New Interview and Assign Interviewers buttons to a new Scheduled Event panel on the page.

If you continue to use the existing interview scheduling process, on the Application page you can:

  • Schedule an interview for this Application. Interview details are sent to the email address you have recorded for the candidate.

  • Edit the details for an interview that has been set up.

  • Assign interviewers.

    There does not need to be an interview arranged before you assign interviewers. Assigning interviewers before arranging an interview provides more opportunity for the interviewers to be prepared.

    Interviewers are given read only access to the Candidate record and the associated Vacancy record, and write access to the interview assessment form for the interview. They are not granted access to any other information held by Recruit.

You can also schedule interviews from the Active Applications section of the Vacancy Details page - select one or more applications and then select Interview Scheduler.
