Setting up authenticated approval

Authenticated Approval enables you to use e-signature approval when Skills or Job Descriptions are created or changed through WX. The process is enabled through policy settings.

For example:

  1. A Team Member adds a new Skill to their Profile.

  2. The Team Member's manager receives an Action to approve the Skill.

  3. When the manager approves the Skill they are asked to enter their login credentials to confirm their identity.

Follow these steps to set up Authenticated Approval:

  1. Create a Remote Site to handle the entry of login credentials required by the authentication process.

  2. Switch on the Policy settings for the processes you want to use Authenticated Approval. Currently available for:

  3. Ensure the Skills for which you want to have Authenticated Approval are set up with an Approver Type and Level.
