Is the Clone button available for employment records in the page layout? If not, you can add it, see Page layouts, search layouts, and related lists for information.

If you prefer not to clone employment records, and want to create new employment records by editing the Team Member record, are the fields required for rehiring available in the Edit Details field set in the Employment object? For more information, see Employment record: Field sets.
