Y26.2 release highlights

This release brings practical improvements that make organizational information easier to share and simplify everyday HR workflows. They also give employees and managers clearer, more accessible experiences.

Our AI experiences also take an important step forward in Y26.2. Key HR Assistant and Performance Coach capabilities previously available through Early Access are now moving to General Availability. Early Adopter feedback directly shaped these to make them more relevant, trusted and ready to scale. At the same time, new capabilities – including HR Assistant’s ability to understand absence data and support employee self-service in WX – continue through Early Access. This gives you early visibility and a clear way to shape their direction.

Performance Coach - Generally Available

The complete Performance Coach experience becomes generally available. It helps employees draft development and operational objectives, summarize past performance reviews, and edit or rewrite objective descriptions with AI. Users can continue refining saved or existing objectives by adding tasks and improving descriptions, with clearer explainability and in-the-flow feedback on AI-generated content.

HR Assistant - Generally Available for HR

The complete HR-facing experience becomes generally available. It combines customer policies and documents with relevant people and employment data to provide more personalised answers. Clear links to trusted sources, simpler document upload and policy mapping, and more efficient use of Flex Credits make the experience easier to manage and scale.

HR Assistant - Absence Grounding (Early Access)

HR Assistant can draw on absence history, current balances and accrual logs alongside customer policies. This helps HR teams answer common time-off questions with relevant employee context and links to the information it uses.

HR Assistant in WX (Early Access)

Employees can ask grounded HR questions about themselves directly in WX. The first use case supports employee self-service through permission-aware answers, giving employees faster support while helping reduce repetitive questions for HR teams. You remain in control of when you enable access.
