HR/Recruit administrator permissions

This help is for system administrators who are setting up Microsoft 365 integration for their organization. If you do not have system administrator permissions, contact the administrator for your organization. If you need assistance making the configuration changes detailed in this guide, contact your support representative.

Azure Active Directory single sign-on

To use the Microsoft 365 integration for time off, your organization must have a Microsoft Azure AD account and use this for single sign-on to Sage People.

Important To use Calendar integration, your organization must use a cloud Microsoft Exchange mailbox. The integration does not support on-premises mailboxes.

Federation ID

Microsoft 365 integration requires that users have the Federation ID field in the user record populated with their Azure AD email address. This links the user's Sage People account with their Microsoft Azure AD account to enable Teams integration. If your organization uses Azure AD for single sign-on, this field will already be populated.
